Position Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will hold an M.Com or an equivalent degree, with a preference for candidates possessing CMA or similar professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights.
- GST/Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
- Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Cost Management: Analyze and manage costs to improve financial efficiency.
- Software Usage: Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient data management and reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and support.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZOHO, etc).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
